Costa Titch’s Mom Suspects Foul Play
Lara Langveld, the mother of late rapper Costa Titch, has taken to Instagram to express her frustration over her son’s delayed lab results.
“The National Health Laboratory Services can take months or even years to finalise toxicology tests. This means I am not the only mother in South Africa that has to wait for answers,” Langveld said via the rapper’s official Instagram account on Tuesday, 23 May.
“It also means if anyone did poison my son, they could get away with murder. I’m pleading for help to get answers as even the police cannot do anything without these medical results,” she added.
Costa Titch, otherwise known as Costantinos Tsobanoglou, died on stage during his performance at Ultra Music Festival in Johannesburg, Gauteng on 11 March. At the time, some believed he had suffered a fatal epileptic seizure triggered by the flashing lights, while others speculated that the 28-year-old had overdosed.
However, on 9 April, the mourning mother also announced via Instagram that she “will not rest until I find out what happened to you”, sparking rumours that he may have been murdered.
Kandis Starr, a psychic from the United States of America, also claimed that she had communicated with Tsobanoglou’s spirit who allegedly said his death was a “set-up”.
